Annual Reports

Established in 1948 the Society has produced Annual Reports each year since then. The earlier editions from 1948 onwards are available as pdf files in our publications archive. Specials, 40th and 50th editions are sold out, but the 60th editions are still available to purchase.

These reports are valuable, providing 70 years of plant and animal recording in Huntingdonshire Vice County 31. The county is surprisingly rich in species given its intensive agricultural landscape. These include local species such as Crosswort occurring in only 13 4km squares. Apart from a record by Hunnybun near Papworth between 1880 and 1890, it was not reported again in the County until the 1952 Annual Report.

Please find our annual reports archive here which is available to members.  For anyone else who would like to have access for research, please contact us directly, explaining your reasons.

In addition we have an archive of reports extending back to 1948.  The archive of reports is only available to members, or shared on request. Please email us if you want use of the reports with an explanation behind the request.
